The 'holes fans on ic are more then a little stunned. And blaming everyone on the team not named henson or roy. In fact, there is talk of ed leaving, drew II, watts and mcdonald transferring. Now while this would be funny given the negative press that would follow, I for one like the idea of those guys (less ed davis) taking up scholarships for a few more years....

And I'd love it if this late run by henson had him enter the draft this year :D

Who would want them? Who would take them?

Bwahahahahaha!!!!!! :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

A modest question: why the heck are they NOT blaming Roy? Are they so obtuse that they don't recongnize the reason that all their players are talking about leaving?

Given that Roy would accept an NIT bid if given one, I guess the immediate question is:
Would the team play in the NIT if offered a bid?

Have they really played in any of their other games? :ymdevil:

They'd make another teams season relevant. :)) :))

Best part is if they go to the NIT they would be the lower seed and have to travel. NITology has them as a 6 seed but 'solidly in'. Top 4 teams get the home games in the first 2 rounds. According to their bracket, unc-ch would face Charlotte in round one.

Speaking of which, did anybody notice that Carolina ended up in a three way tie for second to last place in the ACC, only one game out of last place? It almost would have been worth it to lose to Miami, just to put UNC in last. Nah, they're not worth it. ;)

Lol.

Look closely though. He's simply resorting to kissing some "A" (french kissing some "A") to help the team win. Far too late though.

5. Acceptance -- "If UNC wins the ACC Tourney, there is still a 50/50 chance they don't get invited, even WITH the automatic bid. That's how bad it is.

Is there any hope that Hewitt will soon be coaching his last game with gaTech?

I don't think so - from what I understand his contract is configured so if he is fired 'without cause' (losing) he is paid in full for the remainder of the contract, which I hear is about $7 million.

Wow. Or should I say WOW! :twitch:

http://www.news-record.com/content/2010 ... from_grace

This team hasn't learned. And at times, it seems this team isn't even listening.

Ginyard said that was apparent from the moment it walked onto a court together.

"That was terrible," he said of the Vanderbilt scrimmage. "That was like the whole season right there. That's exactly the way this whole year's gone down."

Vanderbilt won the scrimmage by more than 30 points, and Ginyard said the Tar Heels didn't seem ready to play, didn't even seem all that concerned.

"At the time, you think there's no way we're not even ready to play and got beat by Vanderbilt by 30 points," he said. "It was the very first time we were all playing. It was like, how are we not super-pumped to be playing? As soon as we got back we had a meeting in the locker room. We were like, 'This isn't how it's supposed to go down. We've got to play better than this. We've got to play more together than this, blah, blah, blah.' But again, even more indicative of the year, nothing really changed after that."

They are totally gonna tank on Thursday..I feel it. It will take this team longer than one off-season to recover, and I think they know it. I can easily see a mass exodus.
