Looks/sounds like another good get from the portal, a big, experienced player to protect our QB and open large holes for our RB!

:9f: At least Trooper Taylor didn’t sneak off at midnight. I wish him well, but I wouldn’t spit on his HC if he were aflame.

I've been wondering if he'd accept Duke's offer or stay. The post I put up earlier talked about how FA&M was adjusting his contract in hopes of keeping him. Not often to see a HC move to a position coach job.

John Garrett, formerly HC at Lafayette and Director of Scouting at FSU, is now (per his X profile) General Manager of Player Personnel at Duke. No idea what that entails, but welcome! :9f:

FYI...He is Jason Garrett's brother. I think I've seen Jason at a few basketball games wearing the correct attire.

Duke had one empty slot on the schedule next year, and we now know it will be filled by Elon.

This is a rough idea of who and when we'll be playing starting in August.

Sat Aug 31, Elon
Sat Sep 7, at Northwestern
Sat Sep 14, UCONN
Sat Sep 21, at Middle Tennessee State
TBA, Florida State
TBA, Mack and the Cheaters
TBA, SMU
TBA, Virginia Tech
TBA, at Georgia Tech
TBA, at Miami
TBA, at NC State
TBA, at Wake Forest

Very happy that September is home-away-home-away once again like it was in '22.

Thanks! I checked the cheats schedule, too, and I'm glad to see they get to play Eff-$-U on the road, hopefully the week before they play us, if you can follow my logic for that one. :ymdevil:

According to the transfer portal tracker on The Devil's Den, the Brandon Johnson ship has sailed to Midnight Mike's new stop:
