Black helmets with the Hell Raiser, white jerseys, black pants.
Same helmet as worn against Wake.

Only Kirk picked Duke on Gameday this morning, and that was because some Dukie is on the crew, lol. :9f:

I'm glad I'll be home and warm. Game time temp will be 50, with cloudy skies. At least no chance of rain.

Quoting Jim Sumner:

"...But a pass-interference call on a pass five yards out of bounds..."

And that is what ultimately led to their game tying FG at the end of regulation.

I don't have enough hatred and swear words for the dirty/dishonest acc refs. X( X(

Duke vs. Pitt, 11/25. We are either 12:00 or 3:30 kickoff. I'm hoping for 3:30. More time for tailgating! AW. :D :happy-bouncyblue: :duke:

The Arkansas boards are entertaining because the fans are calling for a new coach. One name on the wish list is Mike Elko. Another person dismissed that and said he would be the next coach at A&M. are there any rumblings of this happening? (Hopefully not… :-ss :YMPRAY:

Okay, stupid question. There’s an entire thread on this OY. This, and whether or not fellow posters are “real” Duke football fans. :twitch:

I wouldn’t want to move to TX. That state is going full-on Handmaid’s Tale.

Allegedly, TAMU has interviewed the coach from UTSA. He is a Texan.

The team came out flat against another team that had lots to prove. Duke didn't take up the challenge, and now has a losing record in the ACC.

FYI, 6-4 teams vs 2-8 teams are now 0-2 for the week in the ACC.

My only score prediction this year hasn't been a number, only saying that I think Duke would show up against Clemson and not get blown out.

Once again entering into the fray, I predict that Duke is gonna beat the snot out of Pitt, and it won't be close. This team is going to close out the regular season with an emphatic victory.

I hope you are right. The team needs a victory to guarantee a winning season.

In regard to your comment on the EK Forum about being concerned about the quarterback room if Elko leaves, I have several comments. With the caveat that everything below is 100 percent conjecture because I have zero sources:

1. I agree Duke might elevate Kevin Johns to Head Coach.
2. I do not believe either Riley Leonard or Grayson Loftis will transfer.
3. Henry Belin will probably transfer but this is primarily due to Loftis bypassing him on the depth chart.
4. Don’t forget we have another quarterback inbound in Tyler Cherry. He is a 3 star from Greenwood, Indiana (Indianapolis superb) with a nice reputation.

I would welcome Kevin Johns as head coach for several reasons including holding together some of Elko’s assistants and minimizing transfers.

Elko is either going to stay or leave so no sense engaging in a bunch of hand wringing. We should know come Monday or Tuesday.

Yep. I am quite sure that Nina has been looking into this as an option. She doesn't come across as someone who isn't prepared. Add to your thoughts the fact that they already have a working relationship, which never hurts.

100% agree. I'm looking forward to Saturday just for the game alone, and then as a fan I'll start eyeing the news Sunday.

PS, I'm assuming that once again the Devil's walk will be going past our tents again with the students gone. Another great chance to express our thanks and pride to this team.

Me three.

I don’t read the recruiting or other speculation threads because they are a waste of (my) time.
