Pencil in the devildeacs for the ND @ Duke game on 9/30 with a ND undergrad/Duke MBA grad and his wife, one of my former office nurses, as our guests. We might bring some Shepherd's Pie or Irish Stew...

Unfortunately I'll miss the Spring Game due to our camping trip, but the first 4,000 people get hats! From an email I got today.
Fan Giveaway - The first 4,000 fans will receive a FREE Duke Football BleedBlue hat when entering the stadium. Free 2023 Duke football posters, schedule magnets, schedule cards and key tags will also be available on the concourse.

I watched on my iPAD. White beat the Blue 19-14. Riley Leonard threw two touchdown passes for the Blue team. Moreover, both backup quarterbacks, Belin and Loftis, looked good. QB is in good shape.

Wide receivers are deep. Eli Pancol and Jordan Moore played on White and had multiple receptions. Jalon Calhoun and Sahmir Hagans looked good on Blue.

At running back, early enrollee Peyton Jones was a workhorse for the White team.

Ordered my parking pass yesterday. I was told that they would be mobile this year. I wonder if the drop-off pass will be the same. Time will tell. Less than 4 months to go. LGD!

Nina's doing her part to help ensure that Coach Elko sticks around in Durham.
Duke football coach Mike Elko's contract has been restructured and extended through the 2029 season.

Outside of Ozzie who I'm "sure" has us at 15-0 (or will the playoffs be 12 teams this year?), who has us winning 7 or more games?

No predictions from me this year, other than to say that we have more than just a lucky chance to win 7, if not 8, games. I firmly believe that starts with Clemson. I like playing a team that is expected be #1 on the first game of the year, and even more so at home. I wouldn't want to be playing them in October. (But I will settle for December once again. :D )
