Usually, this thread would appear to the week prior to our tailgate, but since I'm going to be the solo chef for this one, I'm posting early to ensure that I've got my pre-game cooking done efficiently.

Thanks to all that have posted about their attendance to the upcoming game. Unfortunately it is looking like we'll have a thin crowd this game. However, fortunately for those who are coming, I'm rewarding those in attendance with a menu change. Instead of doing the planned pork menu, I'm shifting gears and will be doing reverse seared prime ribeye steak. Menu changes have been applied below.

Blue Smoke won't be the grill on-site this time, since it weighs a literal ton. Instead, I'll be bringing my tie-dyed hippie cooker, which is light enough that I can move it myself. Even though the lots won't open 'til later than usual, the tent guys are working with me so I can setup around 11am and get to cooking and setting up our tables.

Green Family attendance will be Bob, Flora and Zeke. Daughter Janice has to work. Grandson Zeke doesn’t eat at tailgate so only two for the menu count.

We will toss $$ in the cookie jar and have a cooler with drinks.

Jenn and I won't be able to make this one due to work. Hope everyone has a wonderful time!

Zero for the devildeacs. We'll be visiting grandchild #5 due to emerge from the incubator on September 5 and we'll be driving from Chicago to Columbus on 9/11 and back to Raleigh on 9/12. Y'all have fun!

OzNina 2. We’ll bring a dessert, probably brownies.

Neither Tom nor I are able to make the first tailgate. See everyone for Northwestern!

Allen Murray (dad) and I will be attending. Will be there by 5:30/6. Will donate $$ to the jar and will bring a couple sides to share (to be named next week).

Zero for cheermom et al. Our attendance will be sporadic this season as we are the fulltime childcare for our almost 6-month old granddaughter. We are all fully vaccinated and double mask whenever we leave our house.

Not sure what games I can make this season, but will let you know if I can. No one does it better than CB &B!

I just don't see any way I can get out of court in time to do the tailgate justice.

I could make the game, but that seems pointless at the moment.
