LTE 2.0

Post by colchar » April 8th, 2009, 7:13 pm

I figured I would start off the newest version of the LTE.

Have at it folks...

I sorta liked your 2.0 on the one you put up before I rudely deleted everything.

CB&B - was looking at the FAQ about polling and here is what it said the following:
How do I create a poll?
When posting a new topic or editing the first post of a topic, click the “Poll creation” tab below the main posting form; if you cannot see this, you do not have appropriate permissions to create polls. Enter a title and at least two options in the appropriate fields, making sure each option is on a separate line in the textarea. You can also set the number of options users may select during voting under “Options per user”, a time limit in days for the poll (0 for infinite duration) and lastly the option to allow users to amend their votes.
I think you did a great job getting this going and all of these will BE minor issues BUT will BE fine tuned overtime. Figured I would let you start a site functionality suggestion list if you wanted to, but this one seems to be a pretty easy fix along with the avatar image upload.

Can't wait to see your setup! IF YOU FOLLOW ANY OF THAT, YOU ARE A BETTER MAN THAN I! =)) =)) =)) =)) i MUST HAVE been 3 sheets to the wind... need I say more! ;)

Although I didn't initially see the poll capability in the permission list, I went through steps to create one and walla, the permission is there! YOU ARE THE MAN! :D

Well, since you have the access to do so, feel free to edit the title to read LTE 2.0 (I can no longer edit the original post).

I like the little "online" banner to the upper right of my avatar.

Devildeac knows we exist

Post by Lavabe » April 8th, 2009, 10:44 pm

I talked with devildeac tonight. He'll be heading to the coast this weekend. You know what that means... lots of reading! ;)

He's doing fine, and appreciates how everyone helped out over this tough time for him.

Thanks Lavabe, I saw he was online tonight in DBR. Hope the coast trip does him well.
