My WIfe's Campaign for NYC City Council

Post by herb » April 10th, 2009, 11:54 am

Folks,

My wife is running for NY City Council (the legislative branch of NYC gov't). If anyone knows folks/friends, etc in the New York (Queens or elswhere) area that may be interested in working on a campaign as a volunteer, intern, etc, let me know.

Here's our website: http://www.heidichain.com

I am the campaign treasurer.

Everyone have a great holiday. Good to be part of the community here - the REAL "Cheers."

Regards,

Herb

Best of luck to you both Herb, politics can be tough enough to read about in the papers, you gotta have real strength to be behind the stories.

All--

Thanks for the good wishes. Been an interesting ride so far. If I haven't done so yet, I'll send you a link to the Facebook group page "Friends of Heidi Harrison Chain" to take a look at.

A wonderful holiday to all.

Herb - send me the facebook link so I can get you on my page. I grew up outside the city and a number of my friends from way back live in NYC - don't know if their in your district or not but it never hurts.

By the way, her site is very nicely done. Looks like you married an amazing woman.

Oh yes...bonus points for having good pictures of the dog on there! :o3

Loni,

You're right (on all counts). She IS amazing..no agendas at all. no ego, etc. And Kal IS a star, isn't he? Amazing how many comments we've gotten on that personal touch. Glad we got an Airedale as a prop! :-)

Try this link. Let me know if it doesn't work; I copied it from the URL address part of IE.
