Hey AD! Are you watching the 60 Minutes piece on falsification of data in a Duke University Hospital research project on lung cancer research? It was the first segment on tonight's show.

Darn it - I missed that one! I'll have to look for the story on their website.

Maybe I should send the link to The Minion. :ymdevil:

Wishing Arkie a great penultimate day at the lab (and thanking her for giving me a chance to use penulitmate...one of my favorite words)

Still nothing but chirping crickets from the minion? Did NuBarbie get her software tutorial or will she have to actually think?

One more day until

I seem to be so fond of 'penultimate' that I posted it twice...not sure how I managed that. Oh well...you can't have too many :Angry Orc: when discussing ADs current lab.

There was much to be enjoyed in my penultimate day with PHB. NuBarbie was out today with the stomach flu. The Minion spent a good chunk of the day in the lab and didn't speak to me once. I figured out how to solve a problem that had stymied PHB, Blustery, and myself for the past day. (As usual, Blustery told me that my solution wouldn't work. When it did, he hummed and hawed and said that it shouldn't have worked and was obviously a design flaw in the program. :| 8-| L-) )

Yep - I think PHB has officially figured out that the lab is going to miss me. He may not know exactly how much until I'm gone. :ymdevil:

There was a greater chance that I'd wear Tacky Blue and cheer for Roy. ;)

BZZT. Co-workers took me out for lunch today. PHB is taking us out tomorrow. Funny thing is, he invited everyone in the lab but me for tomorrow's lunch! =))

He asked me in the hall yesterday if he had sent me an invitation. He meant to invite me and forgot. 8-| We are going someplace nice, and I suspect that Mrs. PHB will be attending. At least, I hope she will. She's actually pretty cool.

There's a part of me that hopes NuBarbie is still sick tomorrow. The going away luncheon would be much more pleasant without her IMO.

Be sure to order the most expensive thing on the menu. :ymdevil:
