Re: TB'CC 2015
For the past five years, we have been perfectly fine parking in the Parking garage for the Old Duke Hospital off of Trent drive. There is never any traffic, parking is always free, and it is a peaceful one mile walk through the quad towards Wallace-Wade.

Re: 2015 Schedule and Discussion
This morning Duke revealed all new uniforms for this upcoming season. Duke and Nike decided to return to the classic "Colts shoulder stripes" design that Cutcliffe implemented when he got here in 2008. We will have similar uniform combinations as last year, with black, blue, and white options for he...

Re: ACCT: Duke vs Notre Dame
This was a tough game to watch. The guys showed no fight or effort for the first 25 minutes. Quinn Cook was 2/12 and missed so many open shots when they needed him. This is one of the frustrating truths about college basketball. The 35-game regular season really means nothing. Every team is defined ...

Re: GTHC, second edition
Luckily, this is one of the least-stressful Duke/UNC games for this late in the season. We are playing our best basketball right now and have only lost once since early January. A loss tonight would suck, but it does not mean much of anything in regards to next week's ACC tournament or the NCAA tour...

Duke at Virginia Tech
Saturday's win against Clemson was one of the most impressive performances I have seen this year by Duke. I hope to see the same energy level tomorrow night in Blacksburg. Virginia Tech is one of the least talented teams in the ACC, but they have a great coach in Buzz Williams who has them prepared ...

Re: Duke Vs. The Cheaters
...we are the better team, and we are playing at home, I expect us to win. Carolina will be fired up because they are playing Duke, but in the end I think we will win by 8 or 9 points. Should be a great game. I watched Carolina on Saturday and they were so lost offensively. Paige will have to have ...

Dick Vitale will not be calling the game; it's the first time since he's been on the air that he's not called the Duke-UNC game. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/tvradio/tom-jones-shooting-from-the-lip/2217799 Best news I have heard in a long time. I loved Dickie V years ago, but he has hit a point w...

Re: Jeremy Cash: player who can make a difference
Coach Cut noted in his press conference this morning that Jeremy Cash underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this morning and will be out for most of spring practice. He noted that this surgery was not a very intense surgery and the recovery time seems to be only 2-4 weeks. This is not bad news at all....

Re: Duke vs Georgia Tech
This is an important game tonight. I expect Duke to win tonight, but I want to see them win going away. This is not a good Georgia Tech team. They have only won one conference game and they only scored 28 points last week against Virginia. I want to see us play well and win by 15+ tonight. It's been...

Re: 2015 Schedule and Discussion
I see the potential for us to go 4-4 in November. I like that prospect. Also...we only have 6 home games this year instead of 7. I like having 7 home games, going on the road twice in non-conference play scares me. But I am in no position to complain about the schedule. If you think Duke has it rou...

Re: Duke in the NFL Draft, 2015
Obviously Tomlinson and Crowder should be drafted. Here's a really cool article on the impressions that Jamison is making. http://www.cleveland.com/sports/index.ssf/2015/01/senior_bowl.html NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper had Crowder as a 2nd Round Pick as of this morning. That would be pretty amazing. Wh...

Re: 2015 Schedule and Discussion
Great post! I'm looking forward to the full schedule being revealed. One correction, we last played Army in 2010 and we lost 35-21 in a game Sean Renfree threw three interceptions and we lost two fumbles. But that is ancient history... By looking at the other team's non-conference games, it is poss...

2015 Schedule and Discussion
Although we are still seven months away from the beginning of the 2015 season, there is still much excitement around this Duke football program heading into the upcoming Spring Camp. One of the most exciting days of the college football offseason is the schedule release day. The 12 opponents and how...

Re: Duke at NC State
I think this will be a competitive game in a rowdy environment. Though, NC State is not nearly as good as they were last year. Losing TJ Warren has hurt them even more than I thought it would. They don't have a go-to guy on offense and Cat Barber has really struggled running the offense for them thi...
